Though light rays shone into the small building, an ominous feeling crept through the atmosphere into the office. Sitting at a desk sat a man no more than five feet. His stern blue eyes locked on to the saluting soldiers green ones. Lieutenant Raven, have you found Arkady Volkov? Yes sir, Raven said quickly, lowering his hand to his side. You were right; there was one more wolf-agent. Good, good, said the man. If he does not answer my questions, he will receive the same attention as his mother does. No mercy. These kinds of agents tend to have a high pain tolerance. Yes sir. Ill make note of that. Clasping his hands together, the man rested them at his chin, his eyes amused as he stared up at the soldier. And what important information was added to the list recently? Arkady Volkov. Yes... the last of the wolf-agents. Prior to two years ago, we knew nothing about him. And yet hes managed to dodge us all. However, thanks to American Agent 39, we received an updated list of the agents. I dont care about the new list. Its just another list of names that hold no meaning. Except... He paused to place the phone onto his desk, releasing Ravens chin and letting the man massage his jaw. Except Arkady Volkov. Raven didnt know what Seth wanted but he couldnt lose this mans trust if he wanted to keep his profits. Sir, I will do everything to find Volkov and bring him to his knees before you. How unsettling. Im sorry? The pudgy man twirled his mustache. Im sure youre aware I have many contacts looking for these agents. Of all of them, youre the only person who has not captured or killed any agents. You disgust me, Lieutenant. You have failed to find his American partner. You failed to take Viktoriya Kuznetsov. You failed to catch any bait that might cause him to react out and come to us.
